Abuse has become more common in today’s world. Many parents or gardens have gone to hitting and neglecting their children as a form of punishment. In 2006 a statistic shows that abuse happens to more than 1.25 million children in the United States. 44 percent were victims of abuse (553,300 children), including physical abuse (325,000 children), sexual abuse (135,000 children), and emotional abuse (148,500 children).
